FAM Offers Free Tax Preparation
Every year, Family Assistance Ministries provides free tax preparation and tax advice for low-income individuals and families. This assistance is available starting on January 20, 2018 continues through April 14, 2018.
If you worked during 2017 and your household earned income was less than $54,000, you may be eligible to claim and receive the earned income tax credit (EITC) of over $6,000.

For individuals who earned less than $60,000 and wish to file their own taxes online using an easy free software platform, MyFreeTaxes.com*, you can do so at FAM during our scheduled VITA tax preparation hours (limited space available).
