FAM's 32nd Annual Hunger Walk

FAM's 32nd Annual Hunger Walk

With Heartfelt Gratitude...

The tremendous outpouring of care from so many generous supporters of FAM’s 2019 Hunger Walk leaves us in humbled awe.

This year’s event raised more than $103,000 to help continue FAM’s Hub of Hope resources, including case management, safe shelter, nutrition, life-skills training, job coaching, and so much more.

Your sponsorship will directly touch hundreds of lives, our neighbors in need—parents and children, single women and men, senior citizens—all struggling desperately to remain in or return to self-sufficiency. We simply cannot thank you enough.

Did You Know?

People often are surprised to discover that even in affluent South Orange County, hunger is a very real issue for many.

The Need in Orange County:

  • 117,861 children are living in POVERTY
  • 1 in 6 children are food insecure
  • The number of children living in shelter has increased by 165% since 2006

Join us for our Annual Hunger Walk, a fun community event to end hunger in south Orange County!

We know you share our concern for hungry neighbors in our south Orange County community. The Annual FAM Hunger Walk fundraiser is a fun walk beginning at the San Clemente Community Center.

FAM’s Board of Directors and staff invite you, your family, friends and co-workers to participate in the Hunger Walk by signing up to walk and fundraise, becoming an official sponsor or making a donation.
